Describe the
nervous systems, its different parts and its functions.
OBJECTIVES.
Create a model of a neuron by using clay, play dough,
Styrofoam, recyclables, food or anything else you can get your hands on
Create a model of the brain by using clay, play dough,
Styrofoam, recyclables, food, etc. Create a whole brain or use a brain atlas
and create cross-sections of the brain at different levels
Create different models of the senses by using clay, play
dough, Styrofoam, recyclables, food, etc
Do an oral presentation about the models, its parts
and its functions.
Development.
1. Research & material: Students
should determine what part of nervous system they will model.
2. Students
will determine what kinds of materials are needed to develop the project.
3. Design and construction: Students
should build three-dimensional models of different parts of the nervous system.
4. Support and evaluation: Students will support and demonstrate the
model, their parts and functions..
